However, according to Harvard\u2019s School of Public Health, eating a nutrient-rich diet can strengthen your immune system\u2019s response to infectious diseases. Nutrients such as \u201c vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, selenium, iron, and protein\u201d have all been linked to the growth and health of immune cells.
