{"id":92305,"date":"2020-08-17T08:00:31","date_gmt":"2020-08-17T12:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/dailymonster\/?p=92305"},"modified":"2020-08-13T14:21:34","modified_gmt":"2020-08-13T18:21:34","slug":"advisors-how-to-change-the-world-course-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/dailymonster\/advisors-how-to-change-the-world-course-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Advisors: &#8216;How to Change the World&#8217; Course"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cHow to Change the World\u201d (UC100.xx) uses our current moment in a socially-distanced world to introduce students to the concept of \u201cwicked problems\u201d and how a multi-disciplinary approach can help us to approach and understand them.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, students will acquire a core knowledge of COVID-19 across all sections of the course, but dedicate the majority of the course to exploring how a specific discipline approaches the larger questions exacerbated or revealed by the pandemic. (Students can register in humanities, natural sciences, social sciences.)
