Tired of scrolling to the bottom of a website to get to something at the bottom? Take a shortcut instead!<\/p>\n

Pressing Command + the down arrow key on Mac, or Ctrl + down arrow on Windows, will instantly take you to the bottom of the page, no matter how long it is. Command or Ctrl + up arrow takes you immediately back to the top.<\/p>\n

It works sideways too. Try holding Command or Ctrl with the right or left arrows to go promptly to the beginning or ending of the line of text or a row in a spreadsheet.<\/p>\n

Keyboard shortcuts can save a lot of time, such as if you’re going through several web page tabs or articles quickly; even for daily browsing and computer-ing they can help speed up the time it takes for mundane, simple tasks, freeing up more of your time to get to what\u2019s important.<\/p>\n

Here are several more which are particularly useful for daily use:<\/p>\n

Print: Control (Ctrl) + P; Command (\u2318) + P
\nCopy: Ctrl + C; \u2318 + C
\nPaste: Ctrl + V; \u2318 + V
\nSave: Ctrl + S; \u2318 + S
\nOpen new windows: Ctrl + N; \u2318 + N
\nOpen new tabs: Ctrl + T; \u2318 + T
\nHide windows: Windows key + M; \u2318 + Option + H + M
\nScreen shot: Windows key + Print Screen (or Windows key + Ctrl + Print Screen on older PCs); \u2318 + Shift + 3
\nForce quit an application: Ctrl + Alt + Esc to open Task Manager; \u2318 + Option + Esc.
