{"id":83578,"date":"2019-09-25T08:00:45","date_gmt":"2019-09-25T12:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/dailymonster\/?p=83578"},"modified":"2019-09-17T19:49:06","modified_gmt":"2019-09-17T23:49:06","slug":"launch-of-direct-deposit-for-reimbursements-for-faculty-and-staff-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/dailymonster\/launch-of-direct-deposit-for-reimbursements-for-faculty-and-staff-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of Direct Deposit for Reimbursements for Faculty and Staff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Over the next few months, the Finance office will be introducing some efficiency initiatives to better serve the campus community and streamline operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The first of these is direct deposit for all faculty and staff reimbursements, which has the following advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">No need to call\/come to the Finance office to pick up a check.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">No need to make a deposit either; the money will be in your account.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Reimbursements will be faster.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">You will receive an automated email when a payment has been processed.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Payment will usually appear in your account the next banking day.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">There would be no lost\/expired checks (also, no unclaimed funds to remit to the State).<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">All costs associated with labor, check stock, printing, mailing etc. will be eliminated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">For those now receiving payroll direct deposit, we believe that we can transfer information into the reimbursement system.
