The Student Assistantship Program (StAP) provides Ohio Wesleyan students with hands-on experiences in a professional setting. The StAP program enables students to translate what they have learned in the classroom into practical solutions in a real world work environment here on campus. StAP supervisors provide a valuable learning experience that will help students with:
\n\u00b7 Preparing for careers or graduate\/professional school.
\n\u00b7 Developing communication skills by working with faculty\/staff in a paraprofessional role.
\n\u00b7 Translating academic concepts into practical solutions.
\n\u00b7 Providing service to the university.
\n\u00b7 Earning a meaningful letter of recommendation.
\n\u00b7 Gaining marketable professional skills.<\/p>\n
