It was produced in 2009. In 2009, the documentary won a Regional Emmy for Best Documentary in its category. The documentary draws attention to the issue that 40% of the homeless population in the US is Queer youth. Queer youth already face serious disadvantages growing up in America, and those that are homeless find daily life even more difficult.
