Thirty-seven days ago, a mass shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. Tomorrow<\/span><\/span>, the March For Our Lives will take place all around the country.<\/p>\n This march demands that the lives of students are protected, that safety becomes a priority, and that gun violence and mass shootings in schools end. The Wesleyan Student Council of Affairs is committed to making this campus safer for all students. WCSA is committed to the #NeverAgain movement and supports anti-gun violence actions on campus to ensure that students\u2019 safety is protected at Ohio Wesleyan and in the larger world because enough is enough.<\/p>\n We must engage in thoughtful conversation with one another. We must work together as the Ohio Wesleyan University community to support, advocate, and stand in solidarity to see it that we are the change we wish to see in this world to put an end to gun violence.<\/p>\n This afternoon, the Young Democratic Socialists of America is sponsoring an Anti-Gun Violence Rally and send-off for those attending the March for Our Lives.
