Call your doctor&#8217;s office first: If your doctor is available after hours, follow the instructions your doctor provides.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>2. Urgent Care Centers: Urgent care centers are often cheaper and faster when it comes to treatment compared to the emergency department. Urgent care centers are often open evenings, weekends and holidays. Make sure to request that all information is shared with your primary care physician.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>3. Hospital emergency departments are for last resort or serious injury or illness.
