Beginning today, we are closing the east end of University Drive (at South Henry Street) for approximately two weeks to replace the existing asphalt with concrete.<\/p>\n
To enable vehicles to use University Drive during construction, we are installing a temporary road accessible from the south side of the Phillips Hall parking lot. The temporary road will reconnect with University Drive just west of the Science Library.<\/p>\n
During construction, pedestrians walking to and from Selby Stadium are asked to take either the stairs between the science buildings or the asphalt walkway on the north side of Merrick Hall to avoid the work area. Please note the northeast door into the Science Library also will be closed temporarily while we pour a new entry.<\/p>\n
