Ji Young Choi Ph. D. is an associate professor in Ohio Wesleyan University’s Politics and Government Department and teaches in\u00a0the East Asian and International Studies programs at OWU. He focuses on international relations history and theories, international and comparative political economy, and East Asian security and political economy. He will discuss, ‘Trade and Politics.’<\/p>\n
The Great Decisions Discussion Program, a free community discussion series, is designed to encourage debate and discussion of the role of the United States in world affairs.<\/p>\n
All Great Decisions discussions will be held at 12 p.m.\u00a0in the Fellowship Hall of William Street United Methodist Church, 28 W. William St.\u00a0Attendees are welcome to bring a brown-bag lunch. Complimentary coffee and tea will be provided.<\/p>\n
Following each discussion, participants will have the option of completing a quick survey\u2014prepared by the Foreign Policy Association\u2014to add their opinions to thousands of others across the nation. The survey results will be made available to local media and sent to Washington, D.C., so that the community\u2019s voice is heard by federal decision-makers.<\/p>\n
