Regardless of the religious affiliation, the premise of prayer boxes remains the same &#8211; to give individuals a place to physically store their written prayer requests, wishes, and desires; to focus on specific needs and to facilitate contemplation on one&#8217;s faith.<\/p>\n<p>At OWU, the prayer boxes located at the entrance of Peale Chapel and in the Ham-Wil atrium are securely locked, opened only by the Chaplain&#8217;s staff.
