{"id":48141,"date":"2016-08-24T08:00:08","date_gmt":"2016-08-24T12:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.owu.edu\/daily\/?p=48141"},"modified":"2016-08-24T08:00:08","modified_gmt":"2016-08-24T12:00:08","slug":"campus-parking-advisory-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/dailymonster\/campus-parking-advisory-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Campus Parking Advisory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome back to campus!\u00a0Parking enforcement for all academic lots (east campus) will begin <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 6 a.m.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Parking enforcement for residential lots (west campus) will begin <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 6 a.m.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0At this time, parking stickers must be properly displayed and vehicles parked in authorized spaces to avoid citation. Please note that while full enforcement does not begin until this date, vehicles parked in reserved spaces, fire lanes, and other non-B or C parking spaces are subject to citation and applicable fines effective <em>immediately<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>We strongly encourage you to register and pay for your permit online as far in advance as possible so that your permit is ready for you when you arrive at the office. To register, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tocite.net\/owu\/viewpermit\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.tocite.net\/owu\/viewpermit<\/a>. Please note that every student bringing a vehicle to campus must register the car and display an OWU parking permit, even if the vehicle is not parked on campus property.<\/p>\n<p>Series B permits are available for $175 for the full year, and Series C permits for $15 for the full year.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that purchasing a Series B permit does not guarantee residential-lot parking. Series C parking sites include the Jay Martin Soccer Complex, Meek Aquatics and Recreation Center, and a limited number of spaces on the far west side of Williams Drive.<\/p>\n<p>Your cooperation with OWU\u2019s parking guidelines is greatly appreciated.
