{"id":45851,"date":"2016-04-18T08:00:57","date_gmt":"2016-04-18T12:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.owu.edu\/daily\/?p=45851"},"modified":"2016-04-18T08:00:57","modified_gmt":"2016-04-18T12:00:57","slug":"summer-hours-and-holidays-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/dailymonster\/summer-hours-and-holidays-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer Hours and Holidays"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>I&#8217;m happy to report that Ohio Wesleyan will observe summer hours this year with offices closing 30 minutes early at <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">4:30 pm<\/span><\/span> daily from <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday, May\u00a09, 2016<\/span><\/span>, through <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday, August 19, 2016<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>We will resume regular office hours with offices closing at <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">5 p.m.<\/span><\/span> on\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday, August\u00a022, 2016<\/span><\/span>. For hourly employees only, please put the 30 minutes of extra time off under &#8220;M time&#8221; (miscellaneous time) when filling out your time card.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In addition, I am pleased to share that everyone will receive an extra day of\u00a0holiday this year &#8212; with the University to be closed <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday, July 1, 2016<\/span><\/span>, and <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday, July 4, 2016<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Memorial Day Holiday will be observed on <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday, May 30, 2016<\/span><\/span>, and offices will be closed. Offices will reopen on <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Tuesday, May 31, 2016<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thank you for all your hard work this past year, and we hope you enjoy this extra OWU benefit this summer.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>John A.
