The intern will fact-check current sections of the Ohio Wesleyan website, as well as develop new content.<\/p>\n<p>The intern also may write news and feature articles for the monthly online Connect2 OWU newsletter.<\/p>\n<p>Guidance on voice, tone, messaging, and preferred copy-editing styles for writing assignments will be provided. The ideal candidate will pay meticulous attention to detail, including grammar and spelling; be knowledgeable about the University; and be comfortable writing for audiences ranging from casual to formal.<\/p>\n<p>The student will work closely with the Communications Office writing and editing team and complete the internship with a portfolio of work.<\/p>\n<p>Experience in photography or photo editing is a plus. Knowledge of Associated Press style is a plus. Applicant should provide links to samples of work, and list any relevant coursework, and\/or work experience.<\/p>\n<p>This internship is ideal for any student with a career interest in journalism, marketing, or advertising.<\/p>\n<p>Supervisor: Cole Hatcher, media and community relations director.
