The Office of University Communications seeks to hire a part-time, 10-week, paid summer intern with experience in web and social media content development, as well as a demonstrable interest in writing for the web.<\/p>\n
The intern will assist with duties including: auditing web pages for quality and accuracy; writing new content for the web; building new pages and features using the BigTree content management system; and implementing new photography and video onto the website.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the intern will assist in monitoring social media and formulating outreach ideas.<\/p>\n
This internship is ideal for any student with a career interest in digital content development, writing, web design, and social media. The student will complete the internship with a digital portfolio of work.<\/p>\n
Knowledge of BigTree or any content management system is helpful. Strengths in spelling, grammar, organization, and attention to detail are preferred. Basic social media knowledge (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat) is helpful. Applicant should list any relevant coursework, and\/or work experience.<\/p>\n
