Did you change your phone\/text number or personal email over the holidays? Did any of your family members who receive OWU ALERT notifications?<\/p>\n

Now is the time to ensure that you are registered to receive\u00a0OWU ALERT emergency\u00a0messages. The University\u00a0will use the OWU ALERT system to share information about weather delays\/closings<\/a> and information about urgent situations requiring you to take immediate action.<\/p>\n

To register, update, or verify your information, please log into your myOWU<\/em> account<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After logging into myOWU<\/em>, click the \u201cmenu\u201d option (the 3 black bars) in the upper left-hand corner, choose \u201cQuick Links,\u201d choose your\u00a0appropriate information box (“Students” or “Faculty and Staff,” and then\u00a0click the\u00a0\u201cOWU Alert Info\u201d link.<\/p>\n

Complete the OWU ALERT form with your preferred email, telephone, and text-message contact points, and then click \u201cSubmit changes\u201d to record your preferences. You may update your information at any time. The system is refreshed weekly on Friday nights.<\/p>\n

Students, please note: If you enroll parents or guardians in the notification system, only you<\/strong> are able to update their information or remove them.<\/p>\n
