Dear Campus Community:<\/div>\n

The steam line from the power plant to Edwards Gym was replaced this summer. Final connections to this line are being completed in Branch Rickey, Edwards, and the power plant. Work will be completed by Oct. 14,<\/span><\/span> and we will begin producing steam that day.\u00a0 This means that we cannot begin heating buildings on the academic side of campus until Oct. 14<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
As the forecast for the next week indicates, temperatures are favorable, and we anticipate the affected buildings will hold enough heat to maintain an acceptable level of comfort.\u00a0 However, building occupants in the east campus academic buildings may wish to wear a sweater during the morning hours for the next week.<\/div>\n
