{"id":106479,"date":"2021-11-05T08:00:09","date_gmt":"2021-11-05T12:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/dailymonster\/?p=106479"},"modified":"2021-11-04T11:40:51","modified_gmt":"2021-11-04T15:40:51","slug":"register-now-for-nov-12-on-campus-covid-vaccination-booster-shot-clinic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/dailymonster\/register-now-for-nov-12-on-campus-covid-vaccination-booster-shot-clinic\/","title":{"rendered":"Register Now for Nov. 12 On-Campus COVID Vaccination Booster Shot Clinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>In partnership with the Delaware Public Health District, we will be holding a COVID vaccination booster shot clinic on Friday, Nov. 12, from 9:30 a.m. &#8211; 1 p.m.\u00a0 The clinic will be held in the Zook Nook on the first floor of HWCC.\u00a0 This is the location where we provide COVID testing services.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If you previously received the J&amp;J Vaccine, you are eligible for a booster shot 2 months after your initial dosage.\u00a0 If you received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, you are eligible for a booster shot 6 months after your second dosage.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><u><b>You must register ahead of time and select an appointment time before Nov. 12.<\/b><\/u>\u00a0 To register, please complete this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.delawarehealth.org\/Forms\/schoolcovid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">form<\/a>.\u00a0 The code you should use to view the form is\u00a0<b>flucovid2021<\/b>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>They will provide a booster for whichever FDA-approved COVID vaccine you have already received.\u00a0 Please\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/booster-shot.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a>\u00a0for more information about booster shots.\u00a0 Those who received a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization, but not yet by the FDA here in the U.S. can receive an FDA-approved booster shot.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thank you for continuing to support your own health and the health of our campus community!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>Dwayne K.
