The Sagan Academic Resource Center (ARC) seeks energetic and enthusiastic students interested in making a positive impact on your fellow Bishops! Students must be in at least their second year at OWU and must provide a recommendation letter from at least one professor in their tutoring subject. Must hold at least a 3.0 GPA in the tutoring subject and must demonstrate subject matter expertise in the subjects and\/or courses in which you would like to tutor.<\/p>\n

Writing Center;
\nCS 103 (Exploring Computer Science); Math 104 (Great Ideas in Mathematics); CHEM 260 (Organic Chemistry 1); BIO 120(Intro to Cell Biology); BOMI 125 (Intro to Microbiology);
\nPG 113 (Democracy, Dictatorship & Political Change);
\nACCT 348 (Business Law 1); BUS 410 (BrandStrategie and Management);
\nENVS 111 (Physical Geography);
\nREL 346 (Chinese and Japanese Religions);
\nSOAN 280 (Social Theory)<\/p>\n
Primary Responsibilities include:
\nProvide supplemental instruction for students to better their understanding of their coursework.
\nCheck the scheduler regularly for student appointments and\/or hold down walk-in\/study table hours.
\nReach out to students regularly to check-in, set up appointments, and meet, as needed or required.
\nRecord appointment information on a shared Google log sheet at the time of appointment.
\nComplete other related academic support duties as assigned.
\nA required training course for all new tutors will be provided by the Sagan ARC center coordinators.<\/p>\n
