Join the Bishop Backers on Jan. 21 for Community Day 2017, a free Delaware celebration at Ohio Wesleyan.
The event will feature a women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader and a Delaware expo with an indoor children’s play area courtesy of the Delaware Community Center YMCA, a visit from Columbus Zoo and Aquarium animals, free raffles for prizes including a big-screen television, and a chance to learn more about service opportunities and businesses in the community.
The event includes free admission – with a canned food donation that will benefit LSS Food Pantries – for all who attend the basketball doubleheader.
The Battling Bishops take on the DePauw University Tigers. The women’s game tips off at 1 p.m., and the men’s contest follows at 3 p.m. The community expo will be held from noon to 3:30 p.m. in the field house. The zoo will be on campus from 2:15-3:15 p.m.
