Prayer boxes are used by nearly every religion known to humankind. Regardless of the religious affiliation, the premise of prayer boxes remains the same — to give individuals a place to physically store their written prayer requests, wishes, and desires; to focus on specific needs; and to facilitate contemplation on one’s faith.
At OWU, the prayer boxes located at the entrance of Peale Chapel and in Ham-Wil atrium are securely locked, opened only by the Chaplain’s staff. All prayer requests are kept confidential.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Chaplain’s Office.
