With the help of the Service Learning Office, I will be tabling with info, statistics, and personal narratives in the hopes of raising awareness and getting donations of menstrual supply products for Family Promise in Delaware. These products rarely get donated because of the stigma related to both homelessness and menstruation, despite the necessity of the items.
Throughout the week (Nov. 16-20), SAGE’s front door will be propped open with a box inside to donate items or monetary donations from 4-6 p.m. Boxes will also be located in Ham-Wil, Slocum, Elliott, SCSC, and at Welch’s help desk.
