“The Jesus Fatwah: Love Your (Muslim) Neighbor as Yourself” is the new Interfaith program shared by OWU Better Together, OWU Common Texts, OWU Interfaith House, and OWU Chaplaincy. It begins Monday, Sept. 26, at the Interfaith House, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The following dates will be Oct. 10, Oct. 24, Nov. 7, and Dec. 5. ALL ARE WELCOME!
Much of what passes for information about Islam is weed-like disinformation rooted in stereotypes and watered by fear. In The Jesus Fatwah, seventeen Islamic and Christian scholars (including Eboo Patel and Brian McLaren!) offer reliable information about what Muslims believe, how they live out their faith, and how we can build relationships across the lines of faith.
Start Time: 5:30 p.m., Sept. 26, 2016.
End Time: 7:30 p.m., Dec. 05, 2016.
Location: InterFaith House.
OWU Sponsoring Organization/Office: Chaplaincy.
