Taimur Islam ’13 to Give Muller Award Lecture TODAY at 4:10 PM

Quantum computers will be able to break the encryption used to secure online banking and shopping. Come hear Nurul Taimur Islam ’13 talk about his cutting-edge research into quantum encryption techniques that will be needed to keep the future Internet secure when he delivers the Muller Award Lecture, “Quantum Encryption: Internet Security in the Age of Quantum Computers,” on TODAY at 4:10 PM in SCSC 161. The talk is in association with the Muller Award for Promise in Physics to be presented to an outstanding sophomore.
