Sept. 5 – Event to Impact Parking; Employees Asked to Use Remote Lots, Use Shuttle

The Office of Admission is pleased to welcome over 400 guests to campus on Tuesday, September 5, for the Ohio Association of College Admission Counseling’s annual Articulation Conference. Approximately 300 of these guests are high school counselors from the Columbus area and across Ohio, creating a wonderful opportunity for us to show off all that Ohio Wesleyan has to offer.

On Tuesday, our guests will arrive from 8-9:30 a.m., with check-in occurring inside the Atrium of Hamilton-Williams Campus Center. They will spend the day in sessions in different campus buildings, touring campus and eating lunch, and attending a college fair in our Branch Rickey Arena.

To make Tuesday’s visit as enjoyable as possible for our guests, we seek both your help and your understanding. We are inviting visitors to park in the nearest available spaces, which will impact faculty and staff parking throughout campus.

As a result, we are asking employees to park in more remote areas, including lots at Selby Stadium and the Meek Aquatics and Recreation Center. The Hamilton-Williams Campus Center lot will be closed starting Monday evening to be reserved for our guests.

For your convenience, the Admission Bishop Bus will shuttle people from the Meek Aquatics Center and Selby Stadium lots from 8-9 a.m.

Again, we appreciate your collaboration and cooperation as we work to welcome these guests to campus. We hope that these counselors will go back to their schools and share the great excitement that surrounds our campus here at Ohio Wesleyan University!

With your help, we can show our guests that every day is a great day to be a Bishop.
