Join us for the kick-off of the outdoor public art installation “The Shadows We Cast,” to be projected nightly on the exterior of the Ross Art Museum! Project will turn on at dusk until midnight from Sept. 20 through Oct. 31.
Join us at 7:15 p.m. inside the Ross for a brief discussion by Tiffany Carbonneau & Susanna Crum, the artists who created the architectural-scale video. The piece explores the hidden history of Delaware and OWU, highlighting the museum as a doorway between town and campus. The projection involves a montage of documents and images from the Delaware County Historical Society and the OWU Historical Collection of Beeghly Library.
Then at 8:15 p.m., grab hot cocoa or cider and a cookie, and cross Sandusky Street to view the video as it is projected on the outside of the former post office building, now part of Ohio Wesleyan University.
