Alanna Spalsbury will be giving a presentation on her Independent Study looking at the overarching ideas of empowerment, the concepts of the ‘White-Savior Industrial Complex”, and appropriate practice for white educators when working with black youth. This will be a 45 minute presentation approx., with a 15 minute allotment at the end for a talk back or opportunity for questions.
