OWU Student Health Center Now Caring for Faculty, Staff

OhioHealth is pleased to announce that the OWU Student Health Center is now open to treat faculty and staff for minor illnesses and injuries.

Although the Health Center is not able to treat work-related injuries and will refer severe needs to the most appropriate medical facility, the Health Center is available to help with:

Colds, sore throats, earaches, allergies, sinus infections, minor eye infections, ,minor cuts, fevers, flu-like symptoms, urinary tract infections, minor back pain, diarrhea, insect bites, rashes, minor burns, sprains and strains, limited vaccination needs, blood pressure checks, and glucose checks.

The Health Center also is able to answer general health questions and will offer for purchase limited prescription medications such as antibiotics.

Please remember the Health Center bills insurance, so we ask that you bring an insurance card and check or credit/debit card with you to cover co-pays or medication charges.

To schedule an appointment, please call our office at 740-368-3160. The Health Center is located within Stuyvesant Hall and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday during the academic year. For more information, please read our flier.
