The MFL Department invites you to join us at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 in Bishop Cafe for the screening of “Bajarí: Gypsy Barcelona”, a documentary about how flamenco’s legacy is kept alive in Barcelona’s Gypsy community (Spanish w/ English subtitles). There will also be delicious empanadas and flan!
The event is free and open to the public.
The film festival is made possible through the support of Pragda, SPAIN arts & culture, and the Secretary of State for Culture of Spain in collaboration with the MFL Dept., the Global Studies Institute, as well as the Latin American Studies and Film Studies Programs.
