Oct. 17 – Writer, Director, Producer, and ALUMNA!

The Department of Sociology/Anthropology and its Student Board are hosting a reception for Menen Hailu, an OWU alumna who majored in Sociology/Anthropology and Black World Studies. Menen is the Oct. 17 Sagan National Colloquium speaker, sharing her documentary film “Young Voices, New Dreams.” Ms. Hailu is a graduate of Columbia University with a Masters in Human Rights, concentrating on child rights and women’s rights.

All SOAN and BWS majors/minors are encouraged to join us in Elliott Hall, Room 205 from 4:00-5:00 p.m., Tues., Oct. 17.
