Oct. 16 – Observance of National Coming Out Day

Because of mid-semester break, OWU’s observance will be Oct. 16!

On Oct. 11, 1987, half a million people participated in the March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights. It is now known as National Coming Out Day. Everyone is invited to tell their coming out stories, or come out for the first time. On Oct. 16, come enjoy a supportive space with members of the community and allies, sponsored by the Spectrum Resource Center.

Baked goods provided! First come OUT, first serve!
