Professor Anne Sokolsky presents “Writing the Revolution: A Granddaughter’s Tale,” discussing George Sokolsky and the Bolsheviks. George Sokolsky was a journalist in China during the turbulent decades of the 1920s and 1930s, says Professor Sokolsky, and he later became a syndicated columnist in over 200 newspapers in the United States during the heyday of print journalism.
She will speak in Merrick Room 203 @ noon.
