On March 28 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Delaware General Health District will be holding a free HIV testing clinic in the Student Health Center in Stuyvesant Hall. The signup process is completely anonymous; the Health Center will ask for your phone number to call you to remind of your appointment. Call the Health Center at (740)-368-3160 to make an appointment.
The test is done via oral swab, and results are ready about 20 minutes after. The test is prohibited if you have a gelatin allergy because there is a chance of an allergic reaction. Do not eat, drink or smoke 15 minutes before the test, and do not brush your teeth less than 30 minutes before.
Test results are most accurate three months after exposure.
