Our next faculty workshop on diversity and inclusion will focus on concrete strategies to engage issues of racial diversity and inclusion in our syllabi and classrooms. We will welcome back OWU alum, Kaila Johnson, Program Specialist at the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio. The goal will be for faculty to leave the workshop with concrete assignments, discussion questions and strategies, syllabi topics/readings, etc, to implement into your course(s) now. Conversations and resources will be focused at the division/department level. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
