International Photojournalist to Speak Mar. 31

“Moments of the Human Condition” – A visual talk by Peter Turnley.

Join us at 7:30 p.m. March 31 in the Benes Rooms to see and hear renowned photographer Peter Turnley’s presentation featuring images taken over 40 years in more than 90 countries – a body of work the award-winning photojournalist calls “Moments of the Human Condition.”

Turnley also will present images from his newly published book of 30 years of photographs of life in Cuba, “Cuba-A Grace of Spirit,” and from his popular book “French Kiss-A Love Letter to Paris.”

Before his presentation, Turnley will receive an OWU honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree, the university’s highest honor.

Peter Turnley is renowned for his photography of the realities of the human condition. He has worked in over 90 countries and has witnessed most major stories of international geo-political and historic significance in the last thirty years.
