FISH, or Friday Informal Science Hour, is exactly what it sounds like: an informal science series lead almost exclusively by student researchers on Fridays. Today at 12 p.m. in Science Center room 164, Amanda Marshall will give a presentation on her Theory-to-Practice Grant “Wildlife Research Station in South Africa.” There will be coffee, tea, and cookies (but not lunch).
Anyone who wants to give a presentation can send an email to eawebb@owu.edu. Presentations don’t have to be on completed research. FISH is meant to be a less formal way of having students discuss research-in-progress with their peers.
