A film screening and conversation with Lynn Estomin, Friday, Feb. 16, at 7 P.M. in Corns 312. This film documents 35 years of art making by the distinguished photographic artist Patrick Ryoichi Nagatani, one of the most brilliant photographic artists of our era. A pioneer of the Contemporary Constructed Photographic Movement in Los Angeles in the late 1970s, he developed a new visual vocabulary by constructing tableau photographs from sets, sculptures, models, and paintings. Estomin is an award-winning videographer, photographer, and interactive media artist.
