A lecture on Contemporary Spanish Theatre by Estela Harretche and Ellen Kaplan, Smith College.
Estela Harretche and Ellen Kaplan, respectively professors of Spanish
and Theatre at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, will be discussing the current state of contemporary Spanish theater. They will also talk about The Dictator´s Granddaughter, a play by David Desola that they translated into English and which they will perform in English and Spanish, alternating scenes as the character changes. The lecture will be in Spanish and English. The production will take place Dec 4, at 6:30 p.m. in Jemison Auditorium, Sanborn Hall.
