The Delaware County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, in collaboration with People in Need (PIN) of Delaware County, seeks donations of new box fans now through Sept. 15. The fans will be used to help people in dwellings without air-conditioning from living with dangerous temperatures.
With the heat of summer looming, the need is great, officials say. Donations may be dropped off at any Delaware County EMS or fire station, including at 99 S. Liberty St., adjacent to the OWU campus, as well as at any Delaware County public library.
