Do you go for Baroque?

Looking for more students for ART 344: Baroque Art (MWF 2:10-3:00, Edgar 121, with Prof. Neuman de Vegvar, cndevegv@owu.edu).

“Baroque” refers to the art of the 17th and early 18th century. If you’re curious about ceilings painted to look like a view into infinite space, a facade that ripples like a curtain, or a still life that includes a flying armadillo, this might be the class for you.

Prerequisite: ART 111, can be waived if you’ve been studying the history or literature of the period. Div IV distribution credit; supports all majors in Fine Arts.

OWU Sponsoring Organization/Office: Fine Arts Department.
Contact: Carol Neuman de Vegvar at cndevegv@owu.edu.
