Artist, Author & Benefactor Ray Merritt Presentation & Reception on Nov. 17

Ray Merritt Sr. has given hundreds of photographs to the Permanent Collection of the Ross Art Museum here at OWU, curated and loaned the very first exhibit displayed in the newly renovated space, and has written many books, including 1000 Hounds, which was selected as Best Book of 2000 by New York Magazine. Mr. Merritt will be on campus on Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. to receive OWU’s honorary Doctorate of Humanities Degree in Benes Room B, Ham-Wil, immediately before a talk about his career. Following the talk, there will be a Reception at the Ross Art Museum from 8:45 – 10 p.m.
