April 4 – “OUTSIDE” Homeless Queer Youth Documentary Screening

“Outside” is a documentary on Queer youth homelessness. In 2009, it won a Regional Emmy for Best Documentary in its category. The documentary draws attention to the issue that 40% of the homeless population in the US is Queer youth. Queer youth already face serious disadvantages growing up in America, and those who are homeless find daily life even more difficult.
