An informational meeting for all seniors interested in running for Graduating Class Trustee will be held Mon., April 2, at 6 p.m. in Mowry Alumni Center’s Monnett Room. Interested seniors MUST ATTEND to qualify to run, or make alternate arrangements prior to this meeting.
Why does Ohio Wesleyan University elect a Graduating Class Trustee?
The Board of Trustees is composed of individuals who are typically not members of recently graduated classes. In an effort to stay in touch with younger alumni and create a link between the generations, the Board elects, annually, a qualified member of the graduating class. This individual is not solely a representative of the student body but rather, a voice for “younger” alumni who would not otherwise have a forum in which to present their special needs and interests.
