Apr. 12- Be The Match Drive

On Apr. 12, in Hamilton-Williams Campus Center from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. the Women’s Soccer Team will be hosting Be The Match for a Bone Marrow Registry Drive. Our goal is to get 100 people entered into the bone marrow registry during that time.

The registry helps to match individuals (children and adults) who are diagnosed with blood cancers with potential donors. The whole process will take maybe at most 10 mins. All you need to do is fill out some basic medical information and papers, and then we take a cotton swab sample from the inside of your cheek and you’re done!
Being in the registry does not mean you will automatically have to donate Bone Marrow, there is actually a small chance you will get picked. However it gives you the opportunity to potentially save someone’s life!
