Dr. Ashley Powers, on behalf of the AMRS program, will be giving a talk entitled “Communicating Culture: The example of the medieval Maniêres de langage” on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 12:10 p.m. in Merrick Hall, room 202. This talk will focus on how the Maniêres succeed in making culture “communicative” and “alive” through their unique synthesis of language and culture.
