All are invited: The memorial service for the Rev. Dr. Valerie Stultz, OWU and MTSO alum, will be held Tuesday, June 19 at 2 p.m. in Gray Chapel. Friends may greet the family at a reception after the service, as well as one hour prior to the service.
Among her many roles of spiritual care and ministry in our Ohio Wesleyan and Delaware community, Valerie was a spiritual mentor and teacher for University Chaplain Jon Powers as well as for his wife, Susan, and their children and grandchildren.
She was formerly a clergy member and District Superintendent of the East Ohio Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church in Delaware, Ohio. The Rev. Dr. Stultz received her bachelor’s degree with a teaching certificate from Ohio Wesleyan University and the State University of New York.
She earned her Master of Divinity and Master of Arts from MTSO and her Doctor of Ministry in pastoral leadership from Wesley Theological School.
