Information Services is looking for a student worker for the summer to work 30 hours a week. This employee will act as a “floating” assistant working with multiple individuals within the department to handle miscellaneous tasks that need completed.
Responsibilities include:
-Answering phones and questions at the OWU Help Desk.
-Basic Computer Troubleshooting.
-Basic Phone and Networking repair.
-Basic Software Installation.
-Dropping off and picking up computing equipment from various buildings on campus.
-Assisting with building wiring projects.
Requirements:
-Be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
-Able to learn new technology related skills quickly.
-Good Problem-Solving skills.
-Good communication skills.
-Comfortable answering phones.
-Able to use small hand tools and power tools.
