Are you ready to take your Omeka project to the next level? The Five Colleges of Ohio invites you to a hands-on Advanced Omeka Workshop. This workshop will explore some of Omeka’s advanced features, including:
-Use Neatline, an Omeka plugin for creating map-based exhibits.
-Install common plugins for functionality.
-Control settings like themes, navigation and permissions.
-Create custom item types.
-Embed media players.
-Add HTML to item descriptions.
The workshop is intended for those who have prior experience with Omeka or those who are interested in learning more about its advanced features. Participants are encouraged to bring their own Omeka projects to the workshop. We will be using some of the time to offer advice and suggestions on plugins and features specific to individual projects. We will also have a demo site to work with for those just starting out.
Lunch, mileage reimbursement and a $100 stipend will be provided to those attending the workshop.
