Take Back the Night is an uplifting call to action to end sexual assault and empower survivors. This year it will take place on Thurs., March 29 and consist of a rally and candlelit march. The goal is to excite members of our community into taking action and to teach them to empower others.
Rally: From 6-7 p.m. there will be several informational sessions about sexual assault, bystander intervention and national movements as well as an open rally for attendees to speak their peace, share stories and share frustrations.
March: From 7-8:30 p.m., we will walk in solidarity ending with a bonfire to burn painful and harmful memories and feelings and also create a mural.
