Annual philanthropic support is responsible for approximately 10% of all OWU’s expenses. From the light bill to faculty salaries, gifts given to the OWU Fund, Team OWU, and departmental giving provide much-needed operating budget for the entire University. It’s like those annual gifts by donors are a birthday present to OWU.
To actually show the community the impact of these very special gifts, there will be gift tags throughout the JAYwalk during today’s birthday party lunch. We thank everyone — faculty, staff and students especially – who provide this very important support to OWU.
